Found a new coin store on my way back from a work meeting today... Was browsing everything, bought some great upgrades at great prices.

Came across this lil guy in a 1.5x1.5 flip and for some reason the thickness of this coin and the look just stood out to me even though I already had that hole filled in MS Condition.

I had to buy it. Paid next to nothing for it...

I am doing some research, and the rim just looks too proof like to me, I may just be honestly daydreaming and wishfully thinking beyond belief.

Thoughts?

You mention 'thickness'. How much does it weigh?

Close...but....

The outside edges of the rims should also be sharp edges. I have one of these as well. MS and probably one of the early die states.

Nice looking coin. I would say MS63, but I'm not that good on grading copper.

if it was proof, it would be a gold mine. Don't think it is though

Many of these have MP qualities, there's been lots of posts in the past. Sorry, just a regular one...but still nice.
