Hello Everyone

I purchased several 2010 silver quarters when they came out but I have not for the 2011 and 2012 series. I was wondering if anyone know a good place where I can trade 2010 for these other years (2011 and 2012). This would help me continue collecting them without having to spend more money. Thanks in advance.

Sometimes local coin shops have a buy/sell/trade board, so you could check your local listings for coin shops. Or perhaps local coin shows. Flea markets always have a stand or two with coin dealers and they may be willing to swap.

Check to see if there are any Yahoo groups. This place does trading:

And once you get enough posts here, you can trade in the trade section.

dude, you're in a good position, the 2010 quarters are the only ones carrying any real premium. You should come out ahead in a trade. If I were you, I would not agree to any straight-up trades. Check the going prices on ebay. You are in the driver's seat. I buy every 2010 that comes into my coin shop because I can flip it on ebay for $50 - $200 profit depending on which one it is.

You can flip a quarter worth about $7.00 retail for $200? I'm curious, what kind of person is paying 40x melt value for what is ostensibly a common silver proof quarter?

This is not disciplinary, just a quick reminder...

Buy / Sell / Trade Rules

That being said, do stick around. Let us get to know you while you get to know us. In my opinion, this will be easier than trying to find some other venue for trading.
