Hello...
I found this 1995P quarter this morning. The eagle on the reverse doesen't have an eye nor any indication that there was ever an eye.On the obverse there is also a small diecrack.
Do you guys have any idea?...It also does not look like wear. The rest of the coin looks in great condition.
Thanks a whole bunch..

Probably just a Grease Filled Die or weak strike.

It looks like wear to me, especially on the eagle's head. The close ups show a ton of scratches on the coin too.

Pretty cool die crack though.

Compare it to a BU quarter and you'll see the difference.

I stick with the filled grease die....since there isen't even a small indent were the eye post to be.I seen severly worn quarters but the eye was still somhow visible...
And yes...I thought the crack is pretty cool too..
Thanks guys :)

if you look where the eye should be....there is a wear mark that continues down the neck...
