There's a very good reason why you can't get gold 50ps.

Thanks for the welcome Yeh was more of a question Really to why they didn't make a gold set, they did a kilo coin for £100,000, would of been on par with that price wise I would of thought. what's the reason augsburger?

The lists I have seen says Wheelchair Rugby !!

hi all, the way I get a few picture 50p's is if you put a pound in a vending machine (drinks n choc) and press coin return you get two 50p's as change. The trick is then check the 50p's and if they are normal ones chuck them back in the machine and go through till you have cycled through the 50p's in the machine. p.s. it doesn't work on all vending machines just trial and error. You know, id never thought of doing it like that. If I ever find a local vending machine with a functional coin return (I swear to god they are trying to steal from me) then Ill try your method out. Only 19 more coins to go!

There should be loads more of them out at xmas, go to the shops selling things for half price which ends up at 50p or £1.50 and buy individually.
