Hello:

I have a bank that is going to let me look through some of their Susan B's, Half dollars and some Sacagawea dollars, etc.

Other than silver in the halves, can someone let me know of any errors or anything else I should keep my eye out for?

Thank you!

On the SBA you can look for the 1979 near date or wide rim. Look on ebay etc for pic of what to look for. Alson on the Sac on the 2000-P you can look for the wounded eagle, pics are also avail. On the Kennedys as stated above there are some interesting errors and IMO is a very pretty coin. I have found a few missing FG initials on the reverse, some have double die ,etc. Have fun....

In looking through Kennedy halves, in addition to the "no FG" and DDO types, I keep an eye out for good examples of 1982 and 1984-8 years. Nice examples are hard to come by. And of course, years after 2001 are NIFC but you can still find them.

In Sacagawea dollars, I find examples of the 2002-8 NIFC, and some in very good condition.

In Presidential dollars, you can look for Washington dollars missing edge lettering, and perhaps other presidents as well.

Good hunting!
