Based on estimated grade/price it has spent a few decades in the 2X2. I'm thinking someone's grandpa passed it on. The "EF+" grade on the holder is way optimistic but even in Fine that $75 would be money well spent. The 1904-S is a scarce coin in any grade and this one looks nice and original.
