This coin appears to have a 'silver wash' & is 'dished' similiar to ancient billion coins. In addition, it is thin, 21 mm, dated 1732 with twin eagle & crown logo (maybe Russian?) If you can authenticate or identify this coin, it would help. Thank You.

It is NOT Russian - that much is visible at first glance; on second glance, it's actually from the HRE (the place with all these German States). Can't say much more than that though.
For anyone willing to attribute this, the first side says CAROL.VI.ROM.IM.SA, which presumably means Charles VI Holy Roman Emperor, and the other side says P.CVRIE.S.IVCI.M.E, which as far as I know can mean just about anything (but just might include an abbreviation of wherever this is from).

Holy Roman Empire = HRE I saw wings, clawed feet and assumed that those were two heads coming through the crown (hence Russian) Imagine there is a lot of Latin and abbreviation on this coin. I thank you for looking at this coin and sharing your ideas. :) Geoff

I can't suggest a better match, but to me the obverse with the crowned ruler looks different to the one in the linked photo.
If the coin were made of billon rather than silver as quoted for KM271, that could explain the 'silver wash' look.

Yes, that's it. 3 Kreuzer or 1 Groschen, Chur is a Swiss Canton. Ruler Joseph Benedict 1732.

I leaning towards a replica... due to dishing and silver wash - you can see the Copper coming through on the eagles head.

Not sure what to do...? You have to have 250 posts to sell here. I could list on ebay under Exonumia but it might get removed, so it would be a Buy It Now item.

The series to which these coins belong is neither rare enough or much in demand for a replica to be likely, though I do have a specimen of a 1 Batzen of Berne dated 1826 in AU condition that might be a copy.
The only reason for suspecting this is that it's slightly different to those shown in reference books.
However, I doubt that this series is sufficiently popular for replica makers to be interested in making copies, so I think a replica is most unlikely.
A contemporary forgery is also a possibility, and more likely, I think, than a replica. A contemporary forgery might also be silver washed copper instead of silver to provide the forger's profit.
I think it would be worth emailing the museums in Chur to see whether they have a specimen with the same die/composition/weight.
