Very interesting here! anyone ever see something like it? know the history of these? huge bugle coming out of the coin with the Freemason symbol on it. The reverse was pushed in creating a bulge on the obverse, where they punched in the design. Picked it up in the reject bin of my bank's coin counter.

That's as cool as a Wheat penny can get. I have a very boring bank and I can never find anything good there.

The obverse looks like hes in some sort of old knight armor, while the reverse looks like the ships from independence day.
Definitely interesting though

I found this with 10 other wheats (nothing too special), 2 Canadian quarters, a few Canadian cents, one of the octagonal Canadian nickels from the 1960's, a coin from Ireland and a coin from the Czech Republic. Plus this, which is pretty cool.

Interesting find. And weird someone would put it on a Lincoln Cent, since Lincoln wasn't a Freemason. Franklin Roosevelt or George Washington would have made more sense (even James Garfield on a dollar coin).

For some reason many people have inplanted all sorts of things on Lincoln Cents. And too, there are people that collect those. Many different types have been posted here in the past.

Gonna take this opportunity to show off my Freemason counterstamped Lincoln Cent. Looks either chrome or more likely rhodium plated. Someone drilled a hole to wear it as a charm/pendant. Yes it needs a bath.
