Is there any reason why a potentially rare coin wouldn't have quality pictures?

I asked the seller for better pictures of the 1916, and he sent the same blurry ones that are on his listing, so my guess is it's a fake and he knows it. He also has a 1923 Ha'penny for sale with some similar low quality pictures, so I'm betting that's another fake too. Look at the other few coins he has sold and it appears he CAN take better pictures, so I leave it to you to reach your own conclusions. Extremely dodgy!

Considering it would be a headline event to have found another 1916 mule - less than 10 known to exist - you'd think there would be more research done by the seller: 1/ to confirm the authenticity of the coin and 2/ to supply the best photos to show it off to best effect (and better sale potential) It'd be a star lot in any of the major auction houses, and would go well into the 5 figure range. A few blurry pix on ebay...not even a shot of its profile Still, it is over $500 at the moment, so some are entranced by the sizzle.....

The seller has cruelled himself with his own pictures.
Hoisted on his own petard, you might say.
I guess that there have been quite a few fake mule coins made with explosive impact copy dies dies, hubbed from high grade original common date half pennies.
Very craftily worded to get in the suckers.

The pictures are just as blurred. Same type of crafty wording. "Modus operandi"
Needs to be shut down.
