I considered the very same coin for my typeset but decided against it due to the price. You can buy it on layaway.

shatsi, yep,that price hurts.I think its a little over booked but I believe it will only go up in value over time.I didn't know they had a laymeaway policy.Guess I better go look into it. Thanks

They do have layaway, a 1/3 to reserve it and then 1/3 in 30 days and 1/3 in 60 days.

A while back, I linked TLS5933 to a 1908 $5 Liberty Half Eagle which he liked so much that he purchased it. I just thought I'd offer to generate him some cash flow in order to get closer to that 1872, if he should desire to sell it to me.  The offer will stand into the future, TLS5933. That 1908 is as nice an AU coin as one is likely to run into. Shatsi, I've had it in my mind to start an EF-AUish typeset in a Dansco 7070 album for a while. A Large Cent I ran into recently caused me to push forward the start time of that particular collection - wait until you see it here. It will knock your socks off.
