The thing with collecting is everybody's interests are unique. If the note interests you then keep it. I have some things as I'm sure others do that have value to me but if anyone else looked they would say why the heck do you have that!

It is a first prefix being AA. Because of the condition this doesn't really add any value. The serial number is not anything very unusual or sought after either. 1000 notes are printed with 666 being the first three numbers of the serial per prefix. So each year that $20 notes runs are made 1000 notes similar to yours are printed. In my opinion to the vast majority of people its only worth $20 but if you like it keep it.

i say ,if it is your first
'first prefix ' note then keep it for yourself because it is a little bit different so you can show your friends what you have found ,,that is one way getting people interested in note and coin collecting ,, good luck ..

Agree with keldaw. By all means show friends/family/workmates, and tell them what serials to look out for. That way you'll get them looking out for unusual serials, and - take it from me - these people are usually the ones who find the good stuff...!

Plenty of examples of tinny luck by non-collector CCF acquaintances have been detailed on this forum

I have told family since finding the 2005 mob of roos with a error, to look out for coins and such but now ill have to get them to keep an eye on everything! :)

Maybe I could sell it to an "A" class devil (if they collect)
