I love this series. I own two. One struck at Constantinople and the other at Cyzicus. The detail on yours is quite nice.

Eng, it wasn't cheap. These are quite common but have a large demand that drives the price up for good examples as I am sure you know. I paid 160 for it.

Yep. I have been looking for this one for quite some time. I felt this one was a good compromise between price and quality.

Well, you know me and how I hunt down a good deal. Suffice it to say I didn't pay near as much for either of mine. Personally, I think it is a matter of patience in the hunt.

Bing => yah, but there are a few too many patient old hunters that sit around the fire and talk about the great coins that got away ... My Great Grandfather (stevex2Moose) was a firm believer in using two arrows to secure a good meal, rather than waiting for many cold and hungry moons in the bush for that perfect one arrow shot!!

Great Grandfather also told many tales about stumbling across the bones of many hunters who must have starved or frozen to death while waiting for that one perfect shot ... NOTE => tears would occasionally well-up in Great Grandfather's eyes as he explained the untimely demise of his good friend jwhungry (it was quite sad) ...
