Sorry about the pictures, they were taken really quickly without a tripod. What would you grade the coin? I have a grade in mind, but I find I am sometimes a bit to generous with my own coins. (Happens to the best of us. ) The coin has full cartwheel lustre, but the pictures don't show it. Edited by Canadian-Banknotes 07/20/2012 4:20 pm

I think it may grade MS-64.

I'm not really good at grading and I don't want to sound very generous either, but this looks like an MS-65 at least :)

I think I can get behind 64 for this coin, and if you poke your nose into VAMworld regarding attribution, start with VAM-6B.

Thanks SsuperDdave. I didn't even notice the clashed N on the reverse.

Thanks.
The second set of photos are all from my phone, and they look better then the original ones with my camera.

I'm at 64 on this coin too. I also think a VAM 6B but here is a good page to check out: http://www.vamworld.com/1886-P+VNA+varietiesThe clash has everything to do with the VAM the die crack nothing really. Look for a faint N around the clash at the neck from In God We Trust clash.

I think fingerprint in lower right portion of obverse may hold it back from 65. Should be a shoe-in for 64.

Nice variety. It's definitely a lock at MS64.

Thanks Everyone, I had also graded it MS-64. I just wanted to make sure, before I listed it for sale.
I am just wondering what the difference between VAM-6B and VAM-1G are?
