I think this could be duplicated and without handling the coin I think it's impossible to be sure. Even if it were a mint error, is it really worth $250 ? I don't think so. I thought it was PMD when I first found mine but when I saw a very similar one on ebay, I thought there may be a chance it was something more worthwhile. As though there's going to be an already minted 5 cent coin floating around in with the 50 cents while they are being minted. The seller should go and get an education, maybe he/she will find some common sense along the way. What a brainless twat!! nealeffendi Pillar of the Community Australia 852 Posts	Posted 07/21/2012 10:12 pm Nancy It isn't impossible for a 5 cent coin to get into a bin of 50 cent blanks (bin not completly emptied, mint employee dropping a coin into the wrong bin etc). I remember seeing in a magazine (CAB?) about 10 years ago a picture of a wartime florin (IIRC) with the indent from a threepence plancett. But this case is PMD. Report this Post to the Staff
