I searched through some threads and didn't locate anything about this topic, so I'm sorry if I am repeating this thread. I was wondering why some Wheat penny rolls sell for so much more than others, even though both will say "unsearched" or "IH at each end" and have the pics to prove it. Seeing some wheatie rolls for almost $200 is just mind boggling...for 1 One uno roll! Is it just due to the type of wrap that increases chances of better coins? Can anyone tell me what I am missing? Thank you in advance :)

If your talking about ebay youre just seeing people falling for scams, especially the ones with the IHC on the ends or something else besides a wheat on the ends

Well, I have been buying some rolls with decent finds in them, but heck if I ever spend that much on a roll of pennies. I just purchased some wheats for around 3 bucks a roll. Just seeing these $150+ rolls of pennies are insane.

3 bucks a roll isn't too bad, from ebay.

When it comes to purchasing rolls of coins from ebay.... let the buyer beware.

Exactly. Just assume the only thing in the rolls is what you can see and bid accordingly

Thank you everyone! This is my first stint at collecting/searching, so I wanted to make sure about the rolls. I appreciate the help from everyone on the few posts I have put on here. This site is great! :)

To the world of UNSEARCHED STUFF.
I wonder if it's possible to find an add on ebay that says all coins have been completely SEARCHED. NO chance of finding anything at all.

I have seen listings that say "NOT unsearched" a couple of times
