i am trying to put together a decent type set of proof coins.and just trying to see if anyone else gets excited about it like I do?here are some proofs I have so far.if you have any would love to see your coin pictures.

I do like proofs but I'm sticking to half dollars for now.

Yeah I have a few proofs actually in my 7070 the moderns are extremely easy and cheap but then they get ridiculously expensive. Be prepared to be dropping 400 bucks per coin.

I didn't know that cameo proofs were available for Franklin halves. All I've ever seen are standard proofs.

I'm presently trying to build a modern proof type set all in NGC holders with UCAM69 for everything 71 and later and in silver for the dime, quarters, halves, Ike dollars, Bicentennials, and the "old" Jefferson nickel (1942P). Once I complete that, I may over time add to it with more classic issues going back as far as the budget will allow, although I imagine I'll never have the budget for proof Peace dollar.

coindog: I might have to postpone enlarging photos.I need to find out how to be able to post the pics here larger.even if my pics are larger the this site wont let me save them any larger.i tried but they still come out blurry.

the picture for the 1868 seated half is the picture that pcgs took of my coin as well as the obverse of my 1896 half.

i cant seem to figure out how to resize the pictures without making it too small.
