It's an American liberty dollar, I believe it says 2007 but the image is a little small.

must have changed images, cause that's a 1927 coin from Australia. I can't tell the denomination, and looks like someone removed image from the reverse and drew something else

Tracey we can see it now Looks like an Australian penny or half penny that has been counterstamped with some sort of symbol. Where did you get it from?

by the spacing of the date and lettering, guessing its one penny.

It is exactly the same size as a Australian penny, with the same writing on the back and front. I was just curious what the stamped symbol means and if it's worth anything

to the Coin Community Family, Tracy. It looks like the inside reverse of the coin has either been ground away or some material has been added as fill. Afterwards the mysterious symbol has been applied . I did a Google search on "cross tree symbol" to work out which "secret society of PMD numismatists" may be responsible - no luck From looking at your photo it seems like the inside of the reverse has a more "orange color". Therefore it looks to me almost like fill. Squire

Hi Tracey I have a part of my collection where I keep such curious coins. I certainly would hang onto this coin if I were you . Might have quite a story to tell, if it could talk I would keep it more out of curiosity rather than monetary worth . Squire
