Hi All,
I am a new member here and I am writing to you today in connection with the three coins that I have kept for years.
I am not an expert on this subject but would like your help in identifying and possibly valuing these coins.

To assist you, I have attached the photographs of these coins; some description is as follows

Hello-All

Hello-All

Hello-All

Hello-All

Hello-All

Coin 1: This coin has Arabic written on the centre of one side (The Arabic translation means that "there is no God but Allah and Muhammad is His Messenger". The same side has four different names in each corner (it's difficult to judge what names).
The opposite side has a diagram of a mosque with the word "Madinah" written underneath in Arabic.

Coin 2: I personally think that this coin is from Arab region as one side shows the era as "Hijree". This side shows letters 3 & 3 in Arabic on the same side. The other side has a pattern that is barely visible.
I took this coin to science museum, London in 1995 and the expert there looked it up (and found it) in one of their coin catalogue. It has been so long and I have lost all information in this time span.

Coin 3: I have no idea on this one. The coin is in poor condition and a pic is attached to assist.

I understand that this may be a specialized area, but if you can assist then it would be helpful.

Regards

Your first coin is in fact a token, possibly given to pilgrims making the Haj. On one side the Kalima surrounded by the names of four Caliphs? And on the other, a mosque; Makkah perhaps.

Hello and welcome. Let's see if we can help.

Your first coin is not actually a coin. It is an example of what Western coin collectors call an "Indian temple token", even though this particular example is Islamic and we all know Muslims don't have "temples". Muslim ones like this are typically used as Hajj tokens, given to pilgrims departing for Mecca. Do a forum search for "Indian temple token" and you'll find a great many of them here on the forum before, since they are commonly confused with coins. Also see the zeno.ru page of Indian Islamic tokens to see a large number of similar items.

Since it's not an official coin, you won't find them listed in the coin catalogues. Older examples of these temple tokens are sometimes made of silver, and those can be quite valuable to the right buyer, but there have been a large number of base-metal ones made in India and Pakistan in recent decades. This one has a slight greenish colour that tells me it's probably not silver.

I'm afraid the pics of the other coins aren't clear enough for me to try to identify, beyond saying #2 is definitely from an Indian state.

The second coin is an issue in the Ilahi year of 32.Most probably an Akbar coin.If the unclear image below that is its reverse, could have been issued from Kabul.
