Was at a flea market today and stopped by a guys booth with a few coins. Came across this lady, beat up as she may be, I couldnt resist! For $48, did I do well?   These pics stink. I will work on better ones tonight. Thanks!

Given the fact a problem free AG would go in the $300-400 range, I'd say you did ok.

How would a coin like this even grade? If I decided to try to sell it, what would be a reasonable price to expect/ask?

It's a details grade, a TPG would more than likely call this one FR2 Details. If it's bent, value would be further reduced.

why sell this one? For $48 you get it at 205 yrs old and it might be in your family for another 100 years...that's priceless

Philadelphian, you should post yours in your own thread and get some grading opinions...members might not check back on this thread and see it...i like yours as well too...AG grading...nice old historic dime..
