People are throwing $182 at that--based on two lousy pics of a lousy coin (or copy)? C'MON MAN--what is the major malfunction?

The last digit looks nothing like a 7. Maybe a 0? Can't tell with such distant pics. They look like they were taken from the moon or something. @ TreasHunt: Correction; 23 bidiots.

"This is a dug coin and is being sold as is. No returns accepted. Item was purchased for a friend who decided he did not want the coin."
Gee - I wonder why the friend didn't want it. Maybe he recognized it as a fake. Hard to believe anyone would bid on pictures like that!

What's said is there are better quality REAL 1877 IHC's, in slabs, for less money than these guys are bidding. Guessing they may all be shill bidders & seller is hoping someone stacks a real bid on top

A (1) 'dug coin' purchased for (2) 'a friend' who didn't want the coin--but they neglected to return it? A few implausibles strung together = I'm even less convinced of authenticity.

look at the bidder activity...the "i*****e(46)" is a shill for sure. Also, if you look at the last 4 bids, I'd bet it was his other shills and they wound up stuck with it again. You'll see it up again by someone else soon, watch... http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI....300746851540if investigated, these bidders probably never bought a rare coin on ebay before...people like this are so criminal to me, I don't ever want to become a victim...

Not sure about shill's myself. The seller's never got any negs, but I'm still a little suspicious.
