I just picked this one up today, and I am quite pleased with it since it is in quite nice condition. Any thoughts?

She's a beauty! Tough to find them that nice. Looks like a nice original AU coin.

Nice pick up. And good to see you back on the World Coin Forum, I have missed your posting and commentary. I have always liked the "royal, aristocratic" look of the reverse on these coins.

Nice original piece. Luster is not apparent in the photos, so it looks like an XF45 to me.

Thanks, everyone!
jfransch- thanks for the kind words. I didn't realize that I was missed around here. :-)

Also, what do you guys feel is realistic value for this coin? Sometimes I wonder about the accuracy of my Krause.

That's a really nice coin. I'm not familiar with that particular series but for large silver coins of that era Krause, in my opinion, is usually way out - by 200 - 300% in some cases

I would ballpark the value for an average AU piece at around $300

Nice coin, though I am concerned about the rim ding at 12 o'clock visible from the date side. Also is there some kind of corrosion by the lettering in that same area? Hard to tell from the pic.
