The auction I "won": http://www.ebay.com/itm/13073573904....m1439.l2649The coins that were actually delivered: I diplomatically complained to seller about the fast one he's trying to pull here, and no response. Been buying and selling on ebay for quite awhile, and it's the first time I've had something like this happen. To those of you I outbid on this item, you're welcome. I just saved you a hassle.

Judging by his spelling I wouldn't have bought from him to begin with.

Sorry about the bait and switch. He got a decent price, so I don't know why he switched. Hope this resolves easily.

ebay Rule #37- never bid on an auction from someone who spells at a First Grade level Each of the pictures is a different size with different lighting and background, strong indicators that the images were ripped from other auctions and illicitly used by this "seller"

You can leave feedback with lower star grading, and that will trigger ebay to file a case against seller, plus file for reimbursement. Or ask the seller return/refund.

Start with seller first to return and refund and they should give you return shipping for it being their mistake. If seller is uncooperative, then go through ebay. But you should give the seller a chance to rectify. If they do rectify and resolve it, you should leave positive feedback.

Good luck with ebay, in my opinion their "buyer protection" plan exists in words only....voice of experience. Hope you can resolve this with seller, if not let us know to beware of this scammer.

ebay should shut down sellers who bait and switch. Also, if a seller is using a stock photo, it should be labeled as such.

I'm sorry to hear of your bad buying experience. I've only had two similar problems out of hundreds of good ones. I notified the seller and then followed up with them if they don't respond. I never got responses and found that ebay Buyer Protection worked for me. Good luck!

Being a seller AND buyer, I have to say the protection policies are skewed totally to the buyers. I have been ripped by two seperate buyers precisely because I have NO recourse at all. I cant even leave bad feedback when ebay agrees I was ripped. Trust me, you will get your money back one way or another, they will make sure of it. Please dont take my statements as me saying you dont deserve to get your money back. You clearly DO.

Agree with smoke ebay does need to make it more even and just take things on a case by case basis as opposed to always assuming either the buyer or seller is always right. Also agree I hate stock photos unless its a dvd or something where an actual picture doesn't matter. AND you definitely deserve youre money back. I wouldnt be to worried about it ebay usually does refund it

if you do not have a habit of bidding on no return listings and returning them, ebay buyer protection will force the seller to accept a return, you will be given a refund when ebay can verify the return has arrived to the seller. obviously the pics are not actual. word to the wise... whenever you see a "no return" auction, ask the seller if the pics are actual, you dont want to make a habit of buying no return listings and returning them, as ebay will flag you and rule for the seller eventually.

Returns or no returns Id always want actual pics of any coin. A few times with more than one listed for an auction Ill request the one in the photo or a photo of the one I will get. Most seller have no problem with it
