Any CCF member have decent pictures to post of type 1 "diamonds" and type 2 "elongated diamonds". Mine just looks like ovals.

If they look oval then you have the type 1 with shorter diamonds. The type 2 diamonds are pointy and angular and are hard to confuse for ovals even on a fairly worn coin.

Although I don't have a TypeII I believe I have a TypeI of the 1966.
If you look at the detail on the 1982 you'll see the diamonds are slightly flattened and elongated.

Thank you thai-vic. Great pictre explains it all. Mine are definitely not angular and it it an uncirculated coin. I would call them ovals or squashed spheres.
