Just got an NGC graded SP 70, 1998 S Silver Matte Kennedy. Got it for 310, ngc has it listed at $575. Did I get a good deal and how much do you think its actually worth

Ya I agree, definitely a beautiful coin! As mentioned, check out ebay and compare the ups and downs. I like NGC's price guide personally, but they do tend to seem high, IMHO

I think you made a good deal. I have seen these sell for over $600. But you can find them in the $300 range, like you did. Everyone should have one just like it Mine, is my avatar, that I sent in and it came back SP70. I also like that yours has the 100 greatest label.

Thanks for the replies, I thought it was a decent deal on there so I couldn't pass it up. It will be worth saving for awhile and maybe it'll will jump up in price down the road

I hate to be the downer but I think NGC may have overgraded this one. I see what appears to be three tiny nicks: one above the eyebrow, one near the cheekbone, and one by the jawbone. Still a nice coin though.

Still a nice coin though. I saw those also .. but 1. I think NGC would not miss seeing those. 2. They might be house lights that are reflecting on the slabs surface.
