I recently acquired 4 IGC graded proof Kennedy's. 2000s-2003s in DCam70, all of them. I tried looking up price but its conflicting between pcgs and nusmedia price guides. Question is: these are 90% silver right? And what are they really worth, it seems pcgs 70's are worth alot more, should I try and get them crossed over to pcgs slabs? I'm not really into these coins although they are beautiful dcam 70's. Looks like value is between $300-$500 for the set a 4 year run, if they are the 90% IGC doesn't put that info on slab, just says 2000s, 50c, Dcam 70. I would like to sell or trade these, maybe someone out there is a big Kennedy half fan can answer some of questions and give approximate value, if I were to put on ebay! Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks.

The slab should indicate whether it is silver or clad. Can you see the reeded edge through the slab?

If the slab doesn't say silver or S50C then it is most likely clad. They make the proofs in clad and silver since some time in the 90s I believe. PCGS typically holds a premium over other TPG for whatever reason especially over ICG.

I can see the reeded edge alittle, I have not been able to upload pics using my Android phone for some reason, when I click upload image, nothing happens......what if I called IGC gave them the SN #s they should be able to tell me, no?

No copper I can see, tried calling ICG no body there on weekend I guess. But I relooked at pcgs price guide again and the only proof coins from these years with the S mm, are etheir 90%, or copper/nickle proofs, and those in Dcam 70 are worth even more..I just don't know why they don't have the slab marked S-50C, instead of just 50 C.

Down load photobucket to your computer. This will make things a lot easier.

Right, they don't list it as silver on your slab because it isn't silver.

O ok nice to see the example, so they are clad which makes the 2001-s worth $175, and the 3 others are very close to same price of silver ones in PF70. Am I right about the value of the 2001?

Yes your valuation would be correct assuming the coins are actually PF70 DCAM most people will grade the coin and not the slab especially if it isn't one of the top 3 TPGs.

No in this case the coins themselves are spotless, with the exception of the 2000 has tiny dot on it. Payed $65 for all four, now find they are worth close to $400!! Excellent day for me thank you guys for getting me on right track!

ICG isn't in the top 3? Is Anacs better? I think the ICG slab with that special ring they have is one of the best. I usually buy only pcgs, but prefer ICG to NGC, personally. I will be trading or selling these ASAP, get another 70 set of SF eagle set from silvertowne perhaps or another ATB graded puck!

I consider ANACS above ICG personally because it's been around longer but I'm sure others would disagree and think ICG is third. I usually only shop PCGS or NGC though if I'm looking for slabbed coins. I mostly deal with raw though, not usually worth the premiums to me.

TPG's considered "the top three" are PCGS, NGC, ANACS, in that order. It is unlikely that a coin graded 70 by ICG will hold that grade if sent to PCGS.
