Of those that subscribe to this magazine, how many use your free online account? I just checked this out and you can set up a portfolio where you list your coins and you can keep track of their values.
I thought this was a pretty neat thing. I will probably never fully utilize this, but it may be fun to throw in a few coins and watch how their values increase / decrease over time.

Collect4fun, is it possible to just subscribe to the monthly Coin Values magazine? I've let my Coin World subscription lapse but I did enjoy the Coin Values mag. I would subscribe to it again if I could get it without the weekly.

I would only caution those of you who are thinking of posting your collection on this list. It's a matter of security, and I'm not sure just how secure this site is if at all. For the price of a prescription to the magazine, I can get into the site. I sure wouldn't want to be posting my holdings on the Internet, and letting everyone who could possibly break into the site, see what I had. This in my opinion is not very smart. Know what I mean?

Certainly not arguing with you OldDan, but is it really that different than our galleries here? It costs nothing to join this site, and you can view peoples coins here as well. I think for the people that want to post pics of their collection, or a list if you will, you should definitely have them under lock and key to protect your investment. I understand that we don't give out emails and/or names here, but some people use their names and don't know it, some display them proudly. Bottom line, if your collection is large enough to be targeted, I don't think it would have been the online pictures that made it so. Just my opinion of course.

I have started a portfolio, but it takes a long time to add them. I think the nice part of it is as the site updates the values, it automatically updates your portfolio too

Jaobler, yes you can just subscribe to the magazine, but with that subscription you also get the online account.
If anyone wants to check it out go to http:/free.coinvaluesonline.com There is a login for a temporary user, Username: LIBERTYHEAD and pass word: MAY I do not know if this will work for everyone, but give it a try.
Old dan, that thought crossed my mine also, but if you do not put in any personal info ( name, address, etc. ) I do not know how they could track you down. Then again nothing is full proof, banks get robbed all the time.
