Found this last night (along with a 1909 Lincoln and a blank (?) penny -
The mint mark looks like a B - kind of cool. It's not in the greatest shape, but an oddity for sure.
Looking at it really close up, it isn't 'altered by man'...(that I can see, but I've been wrong)
Was thinking about putting it on ebay, any thoughts on setting a starting price, or how to even list it?

Pennybright, probably the foremost authority on Lincoln cents in the world has already flat out told you this coin is damaged and is NOT an error right here.

What do you want us to say? If you're not going to listen to anything anyone says, including the extremely well-known experts, there's not much we can say.

Would be too easy to "make" this coin this way.

Probably not as easy as it occurs just by being in change. Coins receive some of the oddest hits by accident.

I have seen cents that have literally had the date scraped off of them from coin counters. The numbers were all mushed up. Very strange looking, but still post-Mint damage. I've seen probably 5-6 of these in the past couple years.
