The seller declined my generous offer of $2.50
I intend to make as many offers as I can and make that offer counter climb to the roof

ty I'd block you too if you got in the way of a payday like that. It's serious business bilking people like that. Back off!

I'd be careful. You might feel a little buyer's remorse if he actually hits the bid.....

Lol. I think it's worth more than $50 just to never see that coin again. If I do win it, maybe I'll sand it to dust and send him the video. This guy claims he's been offered $10,000 for it before (I believe) and turned it down. Someone should created a fake ebay account, and offer him $1,000 - $5,000 and see if he accepts.

He didn't plan to become a millionaire by giving away free postage. :) What amazes me is that despite how clearly a loon this guy is, there is an even BIGGER one out there who came out of the woodwork to praise him.

dialog - Are you refering to the guy in the questions? If so, I think he was being sarcastic.

$1,350,000 seems like a great deal for an amazing coin like that, but $38 for shipping though! Guess I won't be bidding!

You shoulda seen what he had done on CT!
He registered a new name and pretended to be a big-time collector to vouch for the outrageous value and rarity of this penny. He was caught.

There are posts about this coin all over the place. Someone with time in his/her hands would have enough material for the funniest numismatic story to tell.

Also a good lesson in 'dead horse beating' (I do not know the source of this image, but it is appropriate!).
