I came a across a coin in a lot. It is heavily worn and looks to only have one side with any detail. It looks to be bronze and is not perfectly round nore is it uniformly thick. The distinguishing marks are a crown over a large shield or coat of arms. To the left of the shield is "CLXIV" The C is large and wraps around the X. Effectivly it is written with the large C covering 2 lines. While the L is level with the top of the C, the XIV is under the L, with the X in the mouth of the C. To the right of the shield is a J. All letters are capital. Any help or direction would be appreciated.
Thanks

I'm sure there's some fine numismatists on this site that can help you with that.

However you can help us even more if you post a picture...

I think I've managed to find your coin, or one not too dissimilar to it. It's from Norway, and in slightly better condition may have looked something like this.

Sap should get a medal... hard to post a question he doesn't have an answer to... even if the question is like a riddle!

So there is a house with no windows and three rooms. Outside there are three switches for a light in each room. They are all in the off position... you can enter the house only one time and when you come out you must say which switch controls which light....

I think I once saw him unsure of a coin.
