At least you found ONE silver dime...it could have been worse. Zero, nada, zilch, bupkis, nix, etc...as far as silver goes on this end...besides two War Nickels and a few wheat's, but I am thankful for what I have received!

mav, it doesn't matter where you go its all in the luck of the draw (being at the right place at the right time etc)

i dont know about you, but CHASE customer wraped rolls were the BOMB for me. I averaged 1-2 dimes per $100 searched! but it depe4nds on the area. I had access to a lot of merchant coin dumps at my branch. it was much larger than the other smaller branches. I suggest you ask around to which chase branch does most of its merchant teller transactions. as for boxes, I never did well at chase. my credit union boxes were better

If you are buying fed rolls (fed-lol), realize that coinstar rejects silver, and the courier is rolling up the dumps and Chase is selling you silver-less coin.

Uh, one silver dime per 50 rolls ($250) is about normal. Come on man, pump up the VOLUME!

I can speak for nickel and cent rolls. When it comes to Chase, I avoid. Brinks is way better, and so is String.

i only search halves. Personally I find that I keep very few quarters out of any rolls unless they look MS

I never found a silver quarter in all the boxes and boxes and boxes and... that I searched.
Also 1 dime per box is pretty good. I got to a point where it was 1 silver dime for every 4 dime boxes and quit. Too much time looking and the coin counting machines always seem to undercount my deposit with dimes.
Like others have said, increase your volume and you should see more silver accumulate over time.

I appreciate the replies, and someone mentioned that the machines reject silver coins, should I ask to see the rejection tray at the bank. I'm probably going to have to bring my teller a gift card Lol

Quote: I'm probably going to have to bring my teller a gift card Lol What's up with gifting tellers? Once a year maybe. I know roll hunters mean well, but tellers already get paid for what they do. Bring your teller a gift card and you will inspire HER to check the reject tray for herself lol!
