Also one of my favorites, it was a big step down when they switched to the portrait dollar!

Hello,MathieuMa.Nice to meet you,my friend.

Of course, you can speak your mind. But Chinese used "Pillar Dollar" for nearly 300 years. We love it,because it was very important for us in history. So many families have this kind of coin today.

You can have a look,thanks!

May I introduce my hometown to you?
My hometown,Fujian, locate in southeast of China. Our province has a lot of harbors.one of them, which call Xiamen (Amoy)is a little bit famous.Have you heard it before? Long long ago, people in Fujian did lots of trade with foreigners in the 1700s-1800s,include merchants from Spain\Netherlands\Britain\France\Sweden\USA\India\South America and so on.We sold silk\china and tea, perhaps other goods, and took silver coins back. Those coins had widely used for a long time.Today,we found the silver coins everywhere. Many of them are UNC detail, because somebody hiden them in the earth during war period. If you ask me whether they are origin,my answer is yes,of course.
