Good luck with that if you don't have a problem with sellers over grading by at least 3 full grades, hope you don't have to have a dispute the seller because she'll abuse & slander you.

I'm only bidding on a vf coin and treating it as such. I don't give any credence to the sellers grade. I most certainly wont be bidding Unc values on this It may not be the flashest shilling on the block but in my eyes it is still a collectible coin

Your choice trout as long as you have your eyes wide open & you know what your getting into, personally I would'nt bid with any seller that over grades by that much, just on principle.

I have to agree, no matter how much I fancied a coin, I would not buy from this seller after the trouble apple had with her. trout, If you win, I hope you at least get the actual coin in the listing and not some crappy substitute.

Just a note of caution, from the looks of it, one of the bidders is probably a shill.

I would grade this coin aVF-VF with a maccas catalogue value of $45 and probable retail value of $20. $50 is ludicrous and there is definitely foul play. I think youre pretty lucky you didnt win that one trout. At $32.50 you may have received a cleaned coin, a different coin or possibly no coin at all. This seller cant be described in words that are appropriate for this forum but if you use your imagination I'm sure you can think of a few.

A shill bidder is a puppet account, either an extra used by the seller, or one of the sellers friends, whos only purpose is to drive the price of the item up so someone who really wants the item will end up paying more. The goal is to bid as high as they think the legitimate bidder bid to push him up to their max or start a bidding war. If they accidently go to high and win then they don't pay and the seller only pays listing fees and the shill bidder leaves some glowing feedback on the sellers page. Sometimes you see a bunch of auctions or buy it nows all won by the same person (they are usually cheap items) to boost feeback ratings.
