I wanted to see others opinion before I decide on purchase. I have a neighbor who went to a show in TX last week and bought 9 PIGS graded MS65RB 1909 VDB's and he is offering them to me at $65 apiece. My CoinWorld mag says good price but I'm still green so would like any opinions I can get. Thanks in advance and all slabs are intact and unopened as far as I can tell.

$65 seemed like a good price as long as it's truly MS65 by PCGS - buy the coin, not the slab (slab can be fake).

Note: This thread need to moves to the right section.

Assuming the coin hasnt gotten really ugly over the years in the slab thats a good deal. Cheapest on ebay is 77 and then everything else jumps up over 100 right now for that.

That's a good price. Wholesale price for '09-VDBs in PCGS MS65RB is $65 right now. Hard to beat that.

Hopefully you mean PCGS. WAy to many items from China look like the real thing but are often misspelled. If they are PIGS, I would think twice. If really PCGS, nice price.

PCGS is it, my phone did an auto correct on me and I didn't catch it before submission. Thank you for pointing it out. Good deal in your opinion?

I would personally get a couple.... and may be do some trade with fellow CCF members for the coins I need.

Btw, ken052376, you need to meed certain posts requirement before you can do trade/sell.... also, you did not turn on the option for email communication in your profile.

And consider you don't have to pay postage, insurances, handling, restocking fees. You save on gas not going ot a coin store too. So what you pay is even better now.
