I'm seeing all 4 diamond edges, pearls to left of it are still visible so maybe gVF?

Is there evidence of cleaning - hairlines in front of kangaroo & under emu?

perhaps a fingerprint in front of George V's chin?

Does a fingerprint/light cleaning reduce value of a circulated coin - what Renniks states is $1,200 VF?

Be careful with this one as it looks like it could be a fake to me.The star on the reverse is flat and for a coin this good it should almost come to a point.Have a look at mine as an example

I nearly got fooled by my negligence.
On closer examination, I am not happy with this coin, either.

Have a look at the picture with a VERY critical eye, and number up all of the features about it that make YOU unhappy.

Against wwwww's warning, I found two immediately.

withdrew bid without much of a problem. Does the front of the emus neck & roos back appear suspicious? there is a sort of double profile.
also I have read that 1932 florins are slightly concae so the reverse is always better unlike this example.

basically key dates - buy from reputable dealer? any other dates probably not as much risk?

What about world coins from foreign dealers that obviously I cannot view in person?

yeah I reported it too but i'd send the seller a message & tell them that you have been informed that their coin is a FAKE & you want them to cancell your bid Ryan.

The moustache, the orb, the star they all look wrong, then again the whole coin looks fake.

For me the alarm bells rang when I saw the obverse had 8 pearls but the surface had a very flat and mottled look.

I sent a few messages to the seller informing they that it is a fake. He seemed reasonable in responding and wasn't rude like most would be. He seemed to not know it is a fake but did make a slip up saying when he purchased it he did so thinking it was genuine. This conflicts with the claim it is a deceased estate sale.

Looks like another fool that got stung and just wants to pass his misfortune onto some other poor bugger instead of just disposing of this junk

Exactly. That's why I saw the red light....
Obviously, the seller's no expert if he bought it as a genuine 1932. Seems like a game of Pass The Parcel is going on.

i also asked if it was real and worth the money

I'm not sure, please rely on your own judgement, one other person questioned it's authenticity, I was under the impression it is real but I couldn't say with absolute certainty
