In agreement at AU-55+ from the photos, the jpeg compression has blured them a bit for me.
The luster and rim toning look original, but wear on the high points, a lot of the New Orleans mint Morgans come softly struck. I've had my share of DMPL and PL strong strikes from New Orleans (not an O/S though - that would be nice). This coin is pretty typical on O?S strikes I've seen, I have about 8 of them nothing quite as nice looking as this one.
