MS 62? MS 63? MS 64? The guy has it marked as a MS 65. I dont think it is. I paid 360. Here are some new pics I took. I'm on the fence about returning it...

Best guess from those photos is MS-63 but that could go up or down if you can post some higher resolution shots

From the photos hard to tell, but I'll guess it comes back at MS-62

A rule I have learned from experience with the more rare coins is try to buy slabbed. Unless you are a professional grader it is so easy to make a minor mistake on the grade of a coin costing you hundreds sometimes thousands of dollars. I have talked to many dealers that won't touch raw keys unless they can get a great price. You just have to think in over 120 years that coin has been in existence no one would have had that coin graded by now, unless it was and came back to low or with details. But it does look like a great coin with alot of luster hopefully not improperly cleaned I would grade it an MS62 from what I can see in the pictures.

unless its the pic angle and light, I dont like what I see on the obverse relief, around her cheek...NGC is hard on these coins, they will assign a details grade in a heartbeat...PCGS is where I would send this one...

Pcgs is usually harder on all coins which is why collectors tend to pay more for the holder....have sent tons of coins ngc ( broke out and sent raw) and were graded lower and still sold for more

i had some experts here locally in town and they agreed upon ms 63 or ms 64. I do not think I will get a details grade. I certainly hope not. I think its the lighting in the pic.
