I guess I spoke too soon. I got an ugly Zincoln and my first non-Canadian foreign coin today! 1950 Mexico 5 centavos: It's the only year with this exact design and probably worth about $1. I can put it with the couple of 1950 50 centavos I have.

Nothing in/on/around/under the Coinstar machines for the last 30 days or so at the 4-5 stores I check.

Time to play I Spy again, because I found some change similar to what I got on the first of the month! Which of these coins do you think I was the most excited to see? I was at Walmart at the right time, because this teenage girl was dumping some change into the machine, looking at her phone the whole time. After finishing with $76.04 (after fees, of course) she felt the reject bin but was dumb enough to stick her hand UP the chute and leave the actual rejects behind. There was another guy behind her waiting his turn, and as soon as the girl took her cash voucher, I made my move. It was a good thing I did, because the man behind her didn't leave anything in the machine!

When I dumped the zincolns from CRH pennies into the coinstar machine at the grocery, I found two clad dimes that had post mint damage and a 2015 Lincoln Shield cent. So I fed the machine and tossed in the 2015. It kept coming back out into the reject tray! I still have it because the machine will not except it. It is completely normal looking. It has bag marks in the fields, but is undamaged. The strike is weak but true in all details. I'm taking it to work so I can get a precise weight.

Finally found some in a coin star at Kroger. 1.03 in US, can't believe they left that much. 1 87 Canadian dime, 1 Mexican bi metal, and finally 1 1954 Rosie. YES.

Made a big hit at the local Coinstar today: 2 10 Euro Cents 1 50 Euro Cents 1 10 Cents Cayman Islands 1 Unidentified Foreign Coin 1 25 Cents Canadian 1 5 Cents Canadian 2 10 Cents Canadian 1 1 Cent Canadian 2 US State Quarters 1 Clad Roosevelt dime 3 Lincoln Memorial Cents And then the big surprise, 11 Lincoln Steel Cents Five of the Steel Cents are in VF (or better) condition: (3 1943-S and 2 1943-D) No silver but the steel cents are better replacements for the ones I currently have in my album.

Hello all! My second thread after being a long time lurker. A few weeks ago I took in a pocket of change (already searched for varieties and errors) to my local grocery store. After the machine did its thing, I grabbed the returned coins and found this 1933 King George V, New Zealand Schilling! I know it wasnt mine and had to be left in the return tray. Its 77% silver, I would put it at XF, 30-35 on the scale. NGC list it at $35 in XF condition, $20 in F. Either way it was free!
