Been kind of quiet on the CoinStar front for me the last few weeks, but I made up for it today!

At my local grocery store I found a handful, including:

1998 Mexico $10
1959 UK 1/2 Penny
2008 Arizona Traditions golf token (This is a local golf course community)
4 US clad quarters (2001-D-N, 1990-D,1998-D, 1994-P)
2 US nickels (1986-D, 2012-D
1981 Canadian nickel
2 US Zincolns (1986-D, 1996-D)
1987 Netherlands 25c
2 Ireland 5p (1995, 1996)
1972 US clad dime
1948-S US dime (Silver)
1964-D US dime (Silver)

The clad and zinc go in the chum jar, the rest into my hoard.

Nice finds n9jig. Today, I found a 1954 silver Rosie lying flat in the corner of the rejection tray. I like it! Good hunting everyone!

This is the first time I have found anything noteworthy in a Coinstar. Found these all in one Coinstar in a Walmart today.

1964-D Roosevelt dime (I love finding old silver)
2006-2008 Canadian Cents
1975 Canadian Nickel.

I also got another 2009 Quarter in change at same Walmart.

All in all a good change day.

Went into the grocery store yesterday to discover a fully loaded Coinstar machine (not the reject bin, it couldn't take any more coins) but that didn't stop me from grabbing the coins left in the dumping tray!

Five of the Steel Cents are in VF (or better) condition: (3 1943-S and 2 1943-D)

Hello all! My second thread after being a long time lurker.
A few weeks ago I took in a pocket of change (already searched for varieties and errors) to my local grocery store. After the machine did its thing, I grabbed the returned coins and found this 1933 King George V, New Zealand Schilling!
I know it wasnt mine and had to be left in the return tray.
Its 77% silver, I would put it at XF, 30-35 on the scale. NGC list it at $35 in XF condition, $20 in F. Either way it was free!

Brian_Schwochert, that's an amazing find. Congrats!

Glad to see the rest of you finding silver dimes and quarters... I've found some miscellaneous stuff since my two silver dimes 10 days ago, but nothing of note... Just gotta keep hitting them and I know I will hit paydirt again at some point soon.

Nothing lately except a couple Zincolns.

That's my motivation. If I were to chart this, there would be no correlation whatsoever! I'm still on the hunt for my first silver.

@Brian Schwochert

That's one of the coolest finds I've seen here.

@tnt

Those Steelies are very nice and an unusual find to be sure in that state. Another

Illegaltender, all of the coins left in the dumping tray were modern dimes and pennies. I had to use a quarter I found in the parking lot to get them out, but I still walked away 43 cents richer!
