Someone gave me their 2 cents worth in the coin star tray last night. A couple of beat up zincolns are better than nothing.

Picked up $2.10 in clad. some were pretty beat up so I know why they didn't go through but 4 of the quarters looked good not sure why they were rejected. I'm glad people don't pick up their rejected change, I even have my wife looking into the coinstars when she is shopping, she found a parking token last week for a local hospital garage (costs $10 to buy 10 at the gift shop).

Found a decent 1943 P Lincoln, Penny or Cent, mixed in with a small batch of Canadian change.

Found a 45-S penny sitting on the CoinStar counter as I went in to dump my change jar. Otherwise it has been another drought after a couple good finds a couple weeks ago.
During my coin dumping I had a ratty quarter and a couple zinc-rot pennies that refused to be accepted, these were found in the reject bin in recent weeks. I left them in the reject bin for the next guy...

Passed the Coinstar while leaving the grocery store yesterday and couldn't believe my eyes. The reject hopper was filled with cash. A total of 180 coins. Mostly recent US coins but there was also 3 Canadian dimes, 1 Wheat cent, and a 5 centavo Brazilian coin. No silver. 28 US quarters 24 US nickels 43 US dimes 80 US pennies 3 CDN dimes 1 US Wheat cent1 Brazil 5 centavos I like to see what foreign coins show up but I can't complain about the $13.31 in spendable cash. My largest single Coinstar haul to-date.

WOW! That is quite a haul and likely to be a record here.
