Reject slot of a coin counter at a local bank today yielded 1 modern Canadian quarter, and a 1959 Canadian nickel...I gladly accepted this donation from a foreign country :)

A couple dollars of change earlier in the week yielded yet another 1943-D Steel Cent.   CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

And actually, I've found quite a few Steels in the wild. I also got two in one CoinStar machine not too long ago... Also, found almost three full rolls (most heavily corroded) from a collection dump.

So today I picked these up out of the Coinstar:  $6.00 in spending money, but all three are commemoratives. I have noticed on several occasions that I have found any toonies in the slot that they are commemoratives, including once when I picked 6 toonies out of the slot and 5 of them were commemoratives. Has anyone else noticed this trend, or is it just this particular machine? I have also had more than my fair share of 2001 year of the volunteer dimes.  |

Found four cruddy cents in the reject tray which ended up the donation thing in the checkout line at the grocery store.
