I had my first finds of the new year yesterday. The machine was locked up because it was full, so that meant some coins still peaking out of the loading slot. I picked out all I could get and this is what I ended up with:

The most interesting was a gunked up 1400(1980) Saudi Arabia 100 Halala (1 riyal). It's cool because I didn't have any coins from Saudi Arabia before and it's a nice large coin:

This one was actually found on the store floor a minute later. My first multi-sided dime:

My Coinstar drought ended nicely today with a 64 and 64-D dime out of one of the local machines.

Someone left a 1944-S Mercury dime on the counter at the grocery store yesterday. There was nothing in the reject bin, and nothing in the dumping tray, so whoever used the machine last probably thought it was some worthless coin from another country!

Found in a Coinstar reject tray sitting all by itself, looks like a lamination error on the reverse.

LOL... I found my 1918 Mercury dime the same way last year... sitting on the counter on top of the Coinstar. People will often put foreign coins there, but rarely US ones in my experience.

yesterday we found an Ike under the machine at our local Walmart.......it was pinched under one of the front feet of the machine, I had to push it out from under it with a key.

Nice find! I looks like it might have been attached to something.
