Well, that's what it would cost to buy one -- you might get less if you sell it. All three of those coins have a pretty decent value. If you get the chance, you should get good pics of each one and post them in individual threads in the grading forum. You're going to get pretty low grades but don't be discouraged. Those are all worth the effort -- in my humble opinion. You can ask for advice when you post them. Meanwhile, handle only by the edges. You got some great finds there! Report this Post to the Staff

Someone's coin collection obviously got raided and you were in the right place at the right time. Congrats! Out of curiosity, did you check the quarter to see if there is a mintmark on the back? It looks to be a very high grade example. A P mint is worth $11-$15 in XF-AU... a D or S mint upwards of $275-$300. Unless it is a CC, your 1875 Dime is likely worth $5-$10... hard to grade based on the photos, but I don't think it is any better an AG. Your 1898-S Dime looks to grade AG... probably worth $5-$6. Did a little searching and found it might be due to the difference in weight. A silver dime weighs more than a clad dime, thus the scales inside reject it. There are only three things the machine can check: size, weight and magnetism. So, yeah, silver coins get rejected for weight. 1943 cents would be rejected for weight and magnetism, etc. However, I don't think they have it down to an exact science judging by what gets rejected (e.g. near perfect normal coins). I would never do it, but do Coinstars accept clad Ikes? How are dollar coins (large and small) treated?
