I made out like a bandit today at Walmart, because there was so much change in the reject bin, it took me 3 handfuls to get it all out! Most of the change was in pennies, but among it all, there was a Canadian dime and quarter, $2.72 in ordinary us change (including a SBA dollar), but the highlights had to be the 2 wheaties in the mix, from 1914 and 1939!

Every day that I walk into my local Kroger's I stop in front of the coinstar machine and wipe my hands and the cart handle with the wet wipes that are available. Needless to say I'm looking at the reject tray out of the corner of my left eye. Today that reject tray had several coins in it and I could see the rim of one. It sure looked like a silver dime. I immediately scooped the contents into the wet wipes and skidaddled over to the pet food isle. Lo and behold, it was a silver dime along with five others and a steel cent to boot! My best score ever!

Well done, Pancake! And Dave, that's a spectacular haul! I can't not mention how cool it was that @Ilikeabecoins found a '54 half! for all.

I broke a dry spell yesterday and came up with a very shiny 2006 Canadian 10c, a 1981-D LMC that is in great condition (I may have to compare to my album example) and a lowly 1991 Zincoln pronouncing its claim by the plating bubble to the NE:

After WEEKS of finding nothing at two different Coinstar machines, finally found SOMETHING!

Three tokens, an Argentina Un Peso 2008, two Zincolns and a dime. The dime seems slightly thin and perhaps a hair off center struck (not much rim below the date).

This is actually two coins glued together. which is why the machine would not take it.
Size of a Jefferson nickel

And the worst Lincoln Cent I every saw. I tried to throw it back twice but it wouldn't take it.
