I hit the Rotten Jackpot today! I saw at least a handful of coins in the reject tray, but my hopes were quickly dashed as I began pulling the coins out. Out of 60 Zincolns and one 1979 quarter, there was not one single clean coin!  Every single cent has zinc rot to varying degrees:  For some reason, I decided to sort them by date and found a decent run from 1983-2015. The most common dates (five each) were 1984 and 2000. There was a single 1992-D, but not Close AM.   My guess is that these may have come from a fountain.  Surprisingly, there was only one with an indistinguishable date. I would think these came from someone with a metal detector.
Probably thought if the machine counts them fine.
If not I don't want them.
That many rejects you got to think how much was accepted.

A little silver find 1964 D Roosevelt first in more than a week, also a 1939 Mexico 1 centavo unfortunately holed, a China 10 something, UK 2015 1 penny, Swiss 1975 5 franc , Canada 1990 10 cents , 2 US cents and 4 junk tokens the other 6 or so coinstar machines today yielded around 45 cents and some Canadian and Mexican modern change

Last Afternoon, I went a Coinstar at Meijer that reject tray a 2007 Canadian Dimes, 2009 Canadians Nickels, Two CEC Coins, Angels Token Coins, and $1.17 Extra Moneys. CEC Coins2007 2009  HAPPY HUNTING!!  |

Found a couple of Detroit People Mover tokens. Worth nothing and ugly as sin, but at least I wasn't skunked.

Same coinstar today 1961 D Roosevelt and 1920 wheat along with 62 cents in modern change makes for a worthwhile stop other 5 or so stops $1.40 or so in change

Nice finds.
I was just catching up on the last few pages of this thread, and I noticed that some of Bucky's finds from the 10th were never identified, but I suppose it's better late than never- they're Moroccan.

Yeah, I got curious and did a little snooping online last summer when I noticed that I had found like 6 or 7 1941-P wheats in coinstar reject trays, and maybe 13 or 14 total other wheats in them (not including steels)... CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!
