She's a keeper for sure @TJL. And what is better than buying silver at face value? Finding silver for free! Compliments of Coinstar, here are my new 1918 LWC and 1963-D Rosie.

Quote: OK The wife strikes again. I come home to a small bowl of coins on the table. She says Look what I found in the CoinStar machine today. Excellent! Quote:Finding silver for free! Compliments of Coinstar, here are my new 1918 LWC and 1963-D Rosie. Nice finds!

Last night my 16-yo son who works at a local grocery store brought home a 5 pence and a Canadian dime after his shift. I taught him well :)

Nothing spectacular, but these were my first Coinstar finds for months! I spotted something in the reject tray and pulled out an ordinary British 2013 5p and a German 2002A 2 eurocents. I'm always happy to get 2c coins even if I don't need them for my collection, as they aren't all that common in change in Europe but some of the penny press machines use them. Then, when I paid for my shopping in the same store, I got a 1994 Jersey penny in change!

No luck with Coinstar of late, but I have been finding left behind change when getting ice from the standalone "Twice the Ice" locations. On two separate occasions, there was a single dime in the coin return (clad), and today there were two quarters (clad). It's like reward points for buying ice from them.

Congrats pancake very nice find. I took some time off started up again the middle of last week. Very slow almost all machine were empty. At times like this you wonder if you will ever get anything good again. Walked by a machine today and this small pile was in the tray. Strange to me no foreign stuff.
