I don't really plan on leaving the house again this year, so I decided to add up my 2022 'finds' today.

My Coinstar total is $67.64. $54.01 was USA coinage and $13.63 was Canadian. I did not include any of the silver I found; mostly dimes and a couple quarters. I also didn't include other foreign coinage. I normally put them in 2x2's and sell them at face value.

I also have a second coin finding target (not Coinstar) that I started hunting around April. I found $29.95 this year! So, combined, I found a total of $97.59+ in coins this year.

My kids call me a 'hobo' for 'garbage picking', but that's almost another hundred dollars in their inheritance fund.

Coinstar-Finds!-Including-Bank-Counters-And-Other-Machines
No silver in this batch, but did get a 1935 Wheat cent, $2.15 in loose change along with 2 coins from Sweden, 2 random tokens, 2004 Canadian cent, a beat up 1990 British two pence, and a battery...

Close ups of the Sweden and tokens:

The flattened penny was on the coinstar counter, and the earring I picked up in the parking lot on my way into the store.

Walked by Coinstar the other day saw a pile of change in there.I could tell it was silver. Reached in pulled all of these plus 2 pennies and a nickle. My best silver haul ever. Could not beleive my eyes.
