On August 13th, I checked the reject slot at a local Coinstar and found a 1937-P Mercury dime in there. I would say the coin grades VG-F.
Wow, nice find!

Stopped at the grocery store to get cash back for a Craigslist purchase last night. No rare finds but did get 12 cents and a chuck e cheese token. ;)

Made an extra trip out to the coinstar where I found my Indian Head cent in the trash, and there was a guy using the coin star. I overheard how much he got; $27.53 cents or something along that line. He didn't even look ONCE in the reject.

Waited for him to leave, scooped up the change, about $0.52 in clad including a PMD underweight clad quarter, 1978 canadian dime, amusement park token, 1941 Wheat cent that looks like a corroded thin indian, and best of all, a 1943 D steel cent.

First steel cent in about a year or so. I think I've found like 10 in coinstars in the past 10 years.

Making a late night snack run for my pregnant wife, and got the call to circle by the Coinstar before searching for those oh-so-elusive Oreo Thins. Sure enough, there was a lonely quarter in the reject slot...

Nice find!

For what it is worth, the Key Lime and Apple & Caramel limited edition Oreo cookies are both very good.

I don't often check the coinstar bin, but I did over the weekend and found a handful!

No silver, but did find 4 quarters, 2 dimes and 6 corroded pennies.

I broke a long dry spell yesterday pulling a 2002 GB 5 Pence and a 1957-D Roosevelt dime at my local Krogers.
