Just passed a coinstar with what looked like a silver quarter, two silver dimes, and some other change...being with my wife who sees taking it as stealing, I decided to pass it up for the sake of a peaceful night.

Stealing?

It's not stealing if someone walks away and leaves it...

I would have taken them and told her to get over it...

Happy wife, happy life.

For the record, my wife would have called the doctor if I did not take it. I would have to be sick or something.

Today, whilst dumping my halves at my CU, I found a LMC and a 1941 wheatie in the reject tray.

I wonder why the Coinstar rejected the elongated cent.

Found a modern dime, a penny, and one of those souvenir pennies that had been formed into the Statue of Liberty. I think I'll give the last one back at some point (I sometimes throw miscellaneous coins I don't need into the reject slot on my way out, since I think it brings good karma)

Odd, but not entirely impossible. Regardless, free money.
