True it just seemed odd to me how they got rejected then.

It could have been that too many coins were dumped in too fast and the rejects were not read by the discriminator. I have had coins fall through to the reject slot like this, but when I send them in again (this time, slower since there are fewer) they always count.

My son in law, recently fetched a 1952 Macau 5 avos from the reject tray. Smaller than a dime, it's about VF.

Found $1.86 in clad yesterday at the Walmart coinstar. Also .25 cent and .10 cent Canadian. Nothing special but its money. There was probably another $1 jammed in the top slot that I couldnt get out. Someone just overloaded it and apparently took off and left everything.

I broke a personal record of mine today for most money (in face value) found at once! -William Henry Harrison dollar coin -$4 in quarters -$1.70 in dimes (one of them is stuck to a penny) -3 nickels -38 pennies (strangely, none of them were wheaties but a ton of them were sticky or messed up) Total value: $7.23 And that doesn't include the highlight, which is a 1964-D dime that was in the mix!

That's not bad! I'm surprised people leave that much stuff in the machines.
A week or so ago the same vending machine that has given me money before gave me another quarter. That machine has given me a total of $0.55, and two others have each produced a dollar.

I recently pulled a 1962 Canadian Silver Half Dollar out of the portal of free money! I was very surprised, I have never seen a Canadian silver half before. They look really neat!
