Hi . My name is Sorin . I am new to this forum and I made this account because I am curious about one coin . I have a coin from my best friend but you can't see much on it ... on one side you can't see nothing and on the other side there is a tent with a small crown on top of it and inside it a woman and a crown . I would really appreciate if anyone can tell me anything about this coin . Thank you and I hope I am not disturbing anyone . Have a nice day .

Welcome to the Forum Sorin! To make any headway on this I need to ask that you post a picture if you can. You described it quite well but a picture would give us an idea of the size and composition of the coin.It may even look like the style for a certain area in the world. Is there a date on it? You are not bothering anyone CCF is a family of coin collectors and you are welcome to stay as long as you want.

Sorin, First of all and to be able to identify your coin. If you do not have a camera and are reluctant to spend a lot of money on one you may wish to review the following thread on USB cameras: https://goccf.com/t/88598mdpmedia

Hello and welcome. It's always tricky to try to imagine what something looks like based on description alone. But the "tent with a small crown on top of it" is presumably the "mantling" of a coat of arms, while "inside it a woman and a crown" is presumably either the design on the shield of the coat of arms or one of the supporters. On that basis, some suggestions I have to offer are: The German state of Schaumberg-LippeMonaco - in this case they're actually monks, not women, but the long robes could cause confusion. Romania - with even less woman-like supporters... I'm sure there are many other possibilities, but that's what I've thought of so far.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis

When given images front and back (with measurements of sizes and weight), this board is amazing in identifying coins or medals.

Hi, Going on the assumption that the metals of this coin were in contact with some corrosive chemical(s) generating heat in the process it makes perfect sense that copper (Cu) would dissolve more rapidly compared to nickel (Ni) since the melting points for both metals respectively are: 1) 1085 C and 2) 1453 C mdpmedia ANA #: BR-3156857

I don't know how much it wights and I don't have with what to find out for the moment ...and I don't have any idea what metal it is .. that is about all and thank you again for your help
